Great food, good price and friendly service by Sohel at Citysearch
I've been going to this place for quite some time and current owner is doing a much better job than the old owner did. I've seen some people are saying the meat dishes weren't good or the vegi dishes weren't up to the standard, but I think even the finest restaurants can have a bad day or two as far as cooking goes. So far, I've not had any bad experience there and I eat frequently. I've sent some of the co-workers there and they are hooked to their chiken tikka masala dish. The staffs are friendly and easy going and they take it easy and don't give you the rush feelings when you are ordering. Over all great food, good price and friendly service. I know the interior pinkish color is a bit odd, but I'm there to eat not to judge the color or the paintings on the wall. :)
The Best Curry in Atlanta by LozBrit at Citysearch This place is amazing!! My husband and I love Indian food, being British we have been to many Indian restaurants (its our national cuisine!), so we have very high standards for Indian food. This place is a small hidden Gem in Atlanta, the dishes are always fresh, hot and delicious. They spice up the food at request. The waiting staffs are always friendly and helpful. The decor is funny, and the place is very small, but we have been there with groups of around 16-20 and they served all of us quickly with the same great standard of food, and all of our friends love this place too. Highly recommended!
Atlanta's Tastiest Indian Food by merrigator at Citysearch Oh. My. God. No, seriously, you need to get in your car and drive to Rose of India right now. The food here is insanely good, and it's CONSISTENTLY good. Every single time I go I'm blown away at how tasty and delicious their food is. Papadums--can't get enough of their crispy, cumin-y excellence. Their naan bread--piping hot and pillowy. Their basmati rice is delicious enough to eat all by itself, but that would be a crime. Because their curry dishes--particularly the RIDICULOUSLY TENDER AND RICH lamb curry--is to die for. And the prices are wonderfully low, so you'll be able to go back often (and you'll want to, believe me.) Get the lamb curry and fall in love.
Great tandoori by PaddyT at Citysearch I've had Indian food from London to Nairobi and this is the best Tandoori I've ever had. Fast friendly service and the ambiance is funky/comfortable. Highly recommended. My favorite is chicken tikka.
Great customer service by Sampathkumarv at Citysearch The place was good, very decent service and food was ok. I ate chicken biriyani and looked instant mix, and was ok. But the naan was the best naan that I have ever eaten.
Best Indian food in Atlanta! by Gambit777 at Citysearch Yeah and I have been to quite a few of them too! The lamb briany is some of the best I've ever had. Their fish masala & chicken vindaloo is awesome too, although the vindaloo could be a bit more spicy. If you are vegetarian, then check out their vegetable selections; the sag paneer is too dying for. Also, do not forget the very flavorful samosas & naan bread. Even though there are a couple of Indian restaurants close to my house, I always drive the extra few miles to Rose of India. Their food just can't be beat. Oh yeah and the staff is a big plus! Always smiling & friendly which makes you feel more welcome.
THIS CHEF RULES ! by tampabayasian at Citysearch I guess the chef must work 7 days a week OR they just have several excellent chefs ! food ALWAYS prepared the same, i have visited there some 5 times and never have i been disappointed in the quality of the dining experience. The entrees are priced extremely reasonable and most can be shared by two unless you are just incredibly hungry. They let you bring your own bottle of wine even! As far as the food choices : the selection is broad and a variety of Indian cuisines are represented. THEY WILL SERVE YOU LIKE YOU ARE A MAHARAJAH (KING) better customer care I have never found at a Indian restaurant :) If you don’t go anyplace else, go here !!!
Delicious chicken dishes, excellent service by dawntreader at Citysearch The inside is a little bizarre with the pink mirrored walls, but it's comfortable enough. The service is a little standoffish, but I think it's because they don't want you to feel rushed or interrupted. They are very friendly. They are also very accommodating. My boyfriend is vegan, and they will prepare veggie dishes for him without yogurt or heavy cream. He loves the aloo sag. I typically like lentil and chickpea dishes, but the ones here are not as good as some elsewhere. The dal is heavy on the butter. The chicken tikka masala is very good, and the chicken vindaloo is the best I've had. Their rice and nan are perfect. If you're a vegetarian/vegan who has grown tired of MSB's terrible service, give this place a try.
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Nothing Less! by krishna57 at Citysearch Excellent food, excellent service, waiters always smiling and polite, generous portions and very reasonable pricing. I would say ideal eating out experience. My husband and I go once a week and then I go again sometimes with colleagues that love this place. I am from India and travel a lot but never found such good taste anywhere!!!!!!!!! 5 stars all the way! I am a vegetarian and love it but my Non Veg friends love it too. Do not let the outside appearance fool you they feed from the heart!

Excellent Northern Indian Food! by Sam at Citysearch This place is just fantastic. Between the very helpful staff and the excellent food, it is a must! The Chicken Tikka Masala, the Lamb Saag, and the Garlic Naan bread, are my favorites. It is the best northern Indian food I've ever had.
It's amazing - Don't believe everyone else! by Icedmocha at Citysearch I can't believe what the previous 2 diners said! I've probably eaten there about 10 times now, and I've tried numberous Chicken and Lamb dishes - every one has been cooked to perfection! Their meat is always tender and juicy, and their sauces are always so smooth and flavorful. There is nothing not to love about their food. I highly recommend that people try this place!! Recommended: Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Shrimp Curry, Eggplant Bharta, Onion Bhajee, Chicken Tikka, Garlic Parmesan Naan, Vegetable Biryani.
Great taste and no grease!! by sht7019 at Citysearch Great food, many choices for veg dishes. It is not BYOB as the website suggests. Food had a homey touch to it
Finally, wonderful Indian food! by Kapa at Citysearch This restaurant has only been open a short time and it is wonderful from the start. The brothers who own and operate it are totally invested in making sure you have a great experience. The food is fantastic, the decor is okay and the service is gracious and attentive. Do yourself a favor, if you like Indian food, try this place!!!
